Getafe Club de Fútbol

Getafe is a professional Spanish football club based in Getafe, a city 13 minutes from Madrid. The club was founded in 1946 and refounded in 1983. The "Azulones" (Deep Blue Ones) compete in La Liga, the highest tier of the Spanish football system and their home stadium is Coliseum Alfonso Pérez (capacity for 17,393 beholders).

The team has played 15 seasons in the First Division of La Liga, reaching 2 times the Final of the Spanish Cup. Last season the club took part for the 4th time in the Europa League, a tournament which brings together the best European football pro clubs.

Student-Athletes Residency in Madrid

Players in this football residential academy are supervised by the school monitors. Getafe International Academy players live with other students and the program includes all transfers between the residency, the sport facilities and school. Outdoor and leisure activities can be enjoyed during players' free time.

This program is supervised by an AAS Chaperone that lives on-site with our players 24/7. GIMFA players need to return to the residence by 10pm at maximum. In case they need to exceed that time, it must be authorized by the parents.
