IFX’s Cyrille Ossey signs with 3.Bundesliga Club SV Darmstadt 98

After a successful showing back in November, Cyrille Ossey finalized a move from TSV Winkelhaid to SV Darmstadt 98. Ossey will compete with the reserve team with the hope of getting promoted into the first team who presently compete in the 3.Liga. Ossey registered 13 matches between the 1st and 2nd team in Winkelhaids backline.

FC BAYERN SET TO FACE MLS ALL-STARS IN 2014

Guten Tag! Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber has confirmed (12.12.13) that the MLS All-Stars are set to face off against reigning UEFA Champions League cup holders and Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich on August 6th, 2014. The match will be televised in North America on ESPN2.

ORLANDO CITY SC NAMED 21st MLS EXPANSION CLUB

MLS commissioner Don Garber announced and welcomed the Orlando City SC to Major League Soccer with play set to begin in 2015. Orlando City SC has previously competed in the USL Pro division, effectively the 2nd/3rd tier of Professional soccer in North America, where is has distinguished itself a top club having won the leagues supporters shield in 2011 and 2012 (best overall record) as well as a league championship trophy in 2013.

BAYERNLIGA DERBY DEBUT | IFX’S JONATHAN FAERBER

After several appearances with FSV Erlangen-Bruck’s reserves, IFX’s Jonathan Faerber got his first call up to Bruck’s first team and debuted last weekend against Bayernliga foe SC Eltersdorf. Eltersdorf controlled the match for most of the first half, converting a deflection to go ahead 1-0 in the 32nd minute.
